FENIX FAMILY FUND
To help and support burn survivors and their families through their recovery processes and medical stay here in the United States, while providing a fun, welcoming, and more enjoyable experience.

CONNECT
The families with the medical facility and other families in the same situation.

HELP
Children or young adult burn survivors get the medical attention and the emotional support that they need.

PROVIDE
All families with a warm and family friendly environment during their time here in Boston as well as supplying food, transportation and fun.
We are the people who have dealt with long-term hospital treatments before.. and now we want to help those who are dealing with the same hardships that we once faced and give them the support and stability they need to get through difficult medical procedures.
As people who have dealt with long term hospital treatments before, we seek to aid other international families who are in desperate need of support. We will help provide lodging during extended treatment programs, along with a wide variety of helpful therapies and support groups.

Your Support Can Save Lives
The money you donate will go towards housing and shelter for families in need, as well as supplies and equipment for our therapies and group projects. We are a not-for-profit organization and all donations will be used to help those in our care.
Sponsor a family
We are always looking for families that are willing to open their homes to children in need. Finding a warm loving place for them to stay is a great necessity. If you would like to sponsor a family please contact us.
Be a Guide Star!
The best way to grow and recover is with love, support and the kindness of others. We need volunteers to act as Tour Guides, Transportation and even something as simple as Pushing a Wheelchair or two!

FAQs
Here are some answers about your donations
Fenix Family Fund has been approved by the IRS to be tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your donations are tax-deductible. To deduct a charitable contribution, you must file Form 1040 and itemize deductions on Schedule A. In your tax-return you just put our EIN 82-1446199. For a contribution of more than $250 you should keep our receipt on file, that we send to everybody by the end of January..
IRS says: To claim a deduction for contributions of cash or property equaling $250 or more you must have a bank record, payroll deduction records or a written acknowledgment from the qualified organization showing the amount of the cash and a description of any property contributed, and whether the organization provided any goods or services in exchange for the gift. One document may satisfy both the written communication requirement for monetary gifts and the written acknowledgement requirement for all contributions of $250 or more. If your total deduction for all noncash contributions for the year is over $500, you must complete IRS Form 8283, Noncash Charitable Contributions, to your return.
